Pastor Steve received Christ into his heart on Wednesday, October 1981. He and his wife, Linda, of 40 years are both native Californians. Pastor Steve hasn’t always been involved with deaf people; he first interacted only with his deaf son, Leo, and one or two of Leo’s friends. Through prayer, Pastor Steve walked away from his position at Safeway, and on July 1, 1986, he began a full-time ministry to reach the Deaf for Christ and provide them with a place to worship God together.
Steve has received training from a variety of places including: Pasadena City College, Summer 1982 - Spring 1986; New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, 1987; Billy Graham School of Evangelism, 1991; Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, Spring 1994. He has also received training in the Christian Growth Study Plan (June 1992) and Master Life Leadership (Diploma, October 1992). Pastor Steve's accomplishments also include becoming a Licensed Minister and being Ordained as a Minister on March 6, 1988, and as a Deacon on August 29, 1999. His most recent accomplishment has been to become a Police Chaplain in the El Monte Police Department. Pastor Steve has a heart dedicated to reaching the Deaf Community for Christ.

Eva loves helping people discover who God created them to be and guide and equip them to find how God wired them (their giftedness, abilities and talents) and then where He wants them to serve Him and His purpose. She is a native Californian, who loves the beach and the mountains.
Eva began her life in Christ at the age of 19 and has been on an exciting journey with Him ever since. Along, with her husband of 34 years, Pastor Gil, she has 2 adult children, Rachel and Josh who love and serve the Lord; and 4 grandsons, David, Jacob, Gabe, and Gavin.
